How do I license a track (one-time, subscription, or balance)?
Once you have picked a track and the right tier, you can pay in whichever way suits how often you license. Three ways to license - One-time - pay once for that track's license. - Subscription - a monthly or annual plan for ongoing licensing. - Prepaid balance - top up with Add Funds and draw from it as you license. What you get Every license comes with a license document (PDF) that records exactly what you are allowed to do, plus the clean (non-watermarked) files to download. The license you need depends on how you will use the track, and pricing follows the same logic. Pick by how you will use it Songfindr has tiers for different uses - creator, filmmaker, game developer, business, non-profit, and broadcast. Choose the one that matches your project on the Pricing page, where current prices are shown. What currency am I charged in, and are there fees?
Songfindr prices in your local currency and is upfront about any card fee. Currency Prices show in EUR or USD, chosen automatically by your region (EUR across Europe, otherwise USD). You can switch it yourself. Card fee on one-time purchases For one-time purchases, a small card processing fee is added so you cover the payment cost: - 1.5% + EUR 0.25 in euros, or - 3.25% + USD 0.25 in dollars. I need something the standard licenses don't cover
Some uses are bigger or more specific than the self-serve tiers, and those are quoted individually. When you need a quote Broadcast or theatrical use, national ad campaigns, AAA or console games, exclusivity, or licensing for a very large organisation are marked Quote Required.
