Everything the Game Soundtrack - 5 tracks included licence allows, and everything it does not. This is the same text that appears in the licence document you receive when you buy.

$599 one-time (€549 in euros).

  • Good for: 5 tracks in one game you self-publish, up to 20.
  • Not for: Publisher/AAA work, OST resale or paid trailer campaigns.

What it covers

  • Synchronization of the licensed tracks named on this license in ONE registered game title developed by the licensee, on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, itch.io), mobile (iOS, Android), browser, and console (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch). The base license covers 5 tracks; further tracks may be licensed to the same title individually, up to 20 in total.
  • In-game use: gameplay, cutscenes, menus and loading screens.
  • Use of the music in that game's own trailers, marketing videos and promotional material, organic distribution only.
  • YouTube Content ID claims are released per video: link your channel, submit the video that uses the track, and the claim is cleared in about three days, so that video keeps its monetization. Unlisted videos qualify, so a claim can be cleared before you publish. Claim clearing is available while a subscription is active, and permanently for tracks bought with a one-time licence.
  • Worldwide territory; perpetual rights for the registered game title named on this license.
  • No limit on the number of units sold or on the game's revenue, below the plan's eligibility threshold.

What it does not cover

  • Up to 20 tracks in total, in the single registered game title named on this license. This is a cap, not an unlimited allowance. 5 are included in the base price; the rest are licensed at $45 per track.
  • Eligible for self-published studios and developers under $200,000 in annual revenue or funding; larger studios require a quote.
  • No publisher or work-for-hire productions.
  • No paid trailer campaign (advertising spend behind the trailer) - that requires a quote.
  • No sale, license, or distribution of the soundtrack (OST) separately from the game.
  • No sublicensing, resale, or transfer of the music to a third party.
  • No use of the music to train AI or machine-learning models.

If your use falls outside this, you are not stuck - move up a rung, or use Request Custom Quote for anything the self-serve licences do not reach.
