Installing the Songfindr panel in Premiere Pro takes less than a minute. You need Premiere Pro 25.6 or later, on Windows or macOS.

## Install with Creative Cloud (recommended)

1. On the [plugin page](https://songfindr.com/en/plugin), click **Download for Premiere Pro** to get the `.ccx` file.
2. Double-click the file: Creative Cloud Desktop installs the panel for you.
3. In Premiere Pro, open **Window > UXP Plugins > Songfindr**.

Creative Cloud also takes care of replacing the old version when you install a new one.

## If Creative Cloud does not work

If the `.ccx` will not install, you can put the panel in place yourself. Use this only as a fallback: here you replace old versions by hand.

1. Quit Premiere Pro.
2. Open the plugins folder (create it if it does not exist):
   - Windows: `%APPDATA%\Adobe\UXP\Plugins\External`
   - macOS: `~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/UXP/Plugins/External`
3. Delete any folder whose name starts with `com.songfindr.premiere_`. Two versions side by side confuse Premiere.
4. On the plugin page, open **Creative Cloud not working?** and click **Download the manual install (.zip)**. Unzip it and copy the folder it contains into the plugins folder.
5. Start Premiere Pro and open **Window > UXP Plugins > Songfindr**.

## Updates

When a new version is out, the panel tells you and links to the plugin page. The page's **What's new** section lists every change.
